Need a suggestion, for I-134, our office address might change in August but we don't have a date for sure. so on all forms should I provide our current address or go with the new one??

Since the change has not taken effect yet and not sure of when it will happen I would use the current address.

Everything I respond to is from personal knowledge, research or experience and I am in no means a lawyer or do I claim to be one. Everyone should read, research and be responsible for your own journey.

EVERYONE WHO HAS HAD THEIR WIFE'S INTERVIEW, GOT A COUPLE QUESTIONS?

Did you attend the interview with your wife? If so, did you try to beg them to issue a visa right away instead of mailing it?

How do you know about this AP/AR nonsense? Is there a way of finding out if my wife is expected to be on it ahead of time?

Do you think chances are lower of AR/AP and mailing out the visa if I am there with her for the interview?

Should I plan ahead and book a flight to the US for her so they may give her the visa right away? (one of the forms asked if she has any travel plans)

I emailed the embassy asking if they can move the interview date up to an earlier date, and that I have all the docs ready and complete.

In response, they asked for a case # to refer to. I just sent a general email, and didn't specify my detailed info. I was afraid to respond, because the last thing I want to do is to irritate the embassy people.

Is it possible to lose your spot if they try to reassign a different date?

Any thoughts???

A wise man told me once not to push my luck, but I am trying to get some new advice, and seek out anyone who may have tried this type of attempt.

hey zeyad

no harm in emailing the embassy over and over again

i emailed them almost every 10 days to get our interview date changed..even though they said its not possible-i would just email again to ask if they would change their minds-and they did. it really depends on if they can accommodate you in another time-slot. you should give them your detailed info because they cannot do anything without it and why you want to get it changed.

its always worth a shot-u wont lose anything..so definitely try!

take care

n good luck!

It is so weired that our case has not been forward to Islamabad from NVC and it has been one month now. I called and speak with Agent and even Supervisor and they have no idea why our case is under "Administrative Processing" and they would not tell how long it will take.

I was afraid for long waiting AP time at Islamabad but they have started at NVC for us. I never heard case being taking this much time at NVC.

what should I do other than just sitting and calling every week? It is simply rediculous..........

Saedah, How far did they move it. and during the interview was there any signs of frustration cause you moved it. I talked with my wife about this, and she fears that they may react and move it out even further thinking that we are impatient.

I still think that there is nothing to lose, since they already have designated a spot for her.

Salaam to everyone,

My wife's K3 interview is comming up this June.... the packet says we need to bring the DS-156/230 along with us, is this correct? or do we need to send anything to the embassy prior to interview?

Also, on one of the DS forms they ask if you intend to work in the USA; if my wife doesnt intend to work, should we answer "No"?

Thanks
