Any suggestions? My job has been changed after I sent the affidavit of support form (I-864) to NVC. Do I need to fill a new form and send to the embassy alongwith the pay stubs (or letter from company) or send to my wife so she can take with her to the embassy or just stick to the one that I sent couple of months ago and dont mention my new job. Because I dont want the process to get delayed by me sending new documents. Has this happened to anyone, ???

it means they looked at the case. could mean they updated something or made a decison.

you will get the notice in the mail. you have to understand USICS. NVC and Embassy

are slow as hell. sometimes it can take 3 weeks for them to get off their azz. except for the embassy

they dont do chit at all.

On 12/27/06, I got I-129F and I-130 approved. I pursued I-129F as it is quicker. My wife had an interview and she is on A, now I am thinking while she is on AP, should I start to follow I-130 too or just stick with I-129F.

Ali they have changed the way that they process the I-130 since I brought over my husband. I understand it must have an extra fee paid and moved from I think the NVC to the embassy/consulate? I would read over the updates and see if this is something you wish to persue? I know the K3 is faster and you are in the final stages now and do you wish for her to adjust status stateside? Sorry I could not answer it more fully for you.

This looks promising and hoping your visa is finally in hand soon.

Everything I respond to is from personal knowledge, research or experience and I am in no means a lawyer or do I claim to be one. Everyone should read, research and be responsible for your own journey.

you have to keep persuing I -130< Cr1 >. because, the I-129f is basicly a DEAD issue anyways. reguardless if she interview for the I-129 and is placed on Admin processing. thats proble why she is placed on AP because, she needs to follow through with the CR1 < I-130 >. Thats what happend to our case.

when you say you should follow through with I-130 the only thing you are avoiding is paying the fees.

but, you still have to pay the fees one way or the other. its alot easier in the long run to come on

CR1 than K-3 visa. beause, k-3 visas once in the USA has alot of drama and waiting. where as Cr1 dont have any waiting surrounding once she arrives here.

IR1.< 10 year visa > is by far better because, you dont have to AOS or Remove condtions.

I am a US citizen residing in Florida, my husband is a citizen of Pakistan

Filed I-130 Petition May 2006

Received filing notice of I-130 on June 19, 2006 (Still pending) No news.

I 129F – K3 Petition filed June 19, 2006

Receipt date by Department of Homeland Security June 21, 2006

Approval Notice of December 8, 2006 Stating: Valid from 12/08/2006 to 04/07/2007

Forwarded to NVC (Department of State National Visa Center)

Forwarded to US Embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan

Husband received packet on January 24, 2007

Interview date on February 6, 2007

Outcome: Blue slip asking for a co-sponser

Embassy received documents on February 19, 2007 (verified by the embassy)

Emailed Embassy after 50 days, their reply:

We have received the documents you had sent. However, this case is pending for admin processing.

We have emailed several times with the same response – case is pending for admin processing.

Last email sent to embassy on May 2, 2007, the reply:As long as your case is pending for admin processing, we will only tell you this. According to the law, when a visa case is pending for admin processing, the visa is NOT issued. In addition to this, the total processing time cannot be predicted.

Todays date is May 4, 2007

My question: Our approval is no longer valid since it was only good until 04/07/2007 Now what?
