Hi FASEL,

For visit visa the following forms had to be filled.

DS-156

DS-157

Applicant parent's information sheet

FEES 7000 and some rupees

If the person had no travelling record it is hard for getting a visa but he shows he had strong family ties and good business that he had no intentions to stay there and with your sponsorship it can help but still it is very hard to get a visa but one should keep his finger cross that your strong documentation and good interview do good but last and not the least he still had to go through that AP.

Fasel it is very hard for a male to come on visitor visa but faal4anisa gave you some good information. You can also look on this site http://www.travel.state.gov/visa/temp/types/types_1262.html it will give you all the information on visitor visas.

Well this person is currently my wife's brother. He just moved from Pakistan to Ireland on a student visa if I recall correctly.He always had plans of coming to Canada or US but the other day he asked about tourist visa. Since he's travelled already, he should have a good chance of getting his tourist visa quickly right ? Thanks.

I remember u gave a DOS number to desperado i had the following numbers

202-663-1225 and 202-647-8411

I try the first number but u had to keep listening to do this dial this number do this dial this number but i never heard about what to do to know about my case status and secondly i dial the other number nobody response and bell keep ringing so please tell me what the correct number to dial and what the procedure to get to the operator soon rather keep listening blah blah and no good information

DOS has an automated response system and the prompts change all the time. You have to listen to them and write it down and can use it until it changes. I have only used the 1-202-663-1225.

I had another number different than the one you posted and I never got any phone calls answered other than the one that I listed. Good luck.

Hi!

I have few questions for you guys, please reply.

1:What paper needs to send in along with packet 3.5 to the embassy besides the DS-230 part 1 and 2 through the courier service. The petitioner already submitted the I-864 at NVC for both of his parents along with the $380 visa fee. Do they have to pay anything else when they go for the interview.

My friend's parents received their 2 seperate packets 3.5, my friend filed seperate petitions for each of them. They both wanna go at the same time for the interivew, so what they need to do, should they contact the embassy and request for the same date?

2:Can they apply for a visit visa if they wanna go before they call them for their IR/5 immigrant visa?
