Dear Mr. Zaki

Be brave.

i submitted my docs on Aug 2, 2005

Interviewed on May 9, 2006 (after 2 times of rescheduling)

Came out of AP/AR hell on Jan 19, 2007

Still waiting for visa!

wishing a short VJ for you.

-Dude

I am looking those who applied their cases with me in april 2006 they not only got their visa and now on adjustment of status and my case is going with tortoise speed. I got my packet 3.5 on 07 december 2006 and i send the documents to embassy on 18 december 2006 and i m still waiting for my medical and interview date

I was knewing that embassy will ask me that i need joint sponsor so my fiancee send me joint sponsor before they ask me and i email the embassy that i got joint sponsor with me u want me to send it to u or u want me to bring it at the time of interview becoz when i send my documents on 18 december 2006 that time i didnt send.

The embassy email me back NOT A PROBLEM U CAN BRING IT AT THE TIME OF INTERVIEW and when i got a call from amex to collect the documents i was happy that i got the interview date but to my surprise i got a letter from the embassy that your documents are deficient and need joint sponsor.

I already ask them before that no need to send it and now they saying me your documents deficient i wanted to send it through amex but embassy itself reply me NOT A PROBLEM

The embassy reply is as follows

Tue, 9 Jan 2007

Dear Sir/Madam,

Not a problem and we will schedule you for an interview and you may bring the required documents on the interview day. Also, please contact our office after 2 weeks from now regarding your interview date.

Thanks

IV Unit

When i reply them and ask them u said that i should not send u and bring it at the time of interview their reply was as follows

Fri, 9 Feb 2007

Dear Sir/Madam,

Please resubmit the required documents in order to schedule the applicant for an interview and so sorry for the prior email as due to new procedure we are unable to schedule the applicant until we receive every document from the applicant.

Thanks

IV Unit

So whose mistake is that and its me who had to suffer for my interview date and now still waiting to get the medical and interview date

But i m still thankful to the embassy that they keep replying my email and i appreciate that from the core of my heart. I want that i should get my interview and then finally start waiting for an AR/AP

Keeping my finger cross and good luck to all PAKISTANI BENEFICARY ESPECIALLY MALE ONES

Hello,

The ISL embassy is i think working very slow. I sent packet 3.5 on 13th November and got interview date on 26th April and ofcourse after interview i have to wait for AP/AR. We can only pray that AP/AR will be short.

Thanks

The embassy asked me for my 2006 taxes so I sent them to my wife and my wife sent them through a service to deliver to embassy. The gentleman from the courier service stated the it should only take a day for them to recieve. How long should we wait before trying to inquire?

Embassy seems to be slow and should pick up its pace again hopefully since the holidays are behind us. I would think a few weeks and hopefully you will hear from them. Good luck on having this completed soon.

Thanks everybody and wishing me good luck i keep u post with my interview.

There are two things i want to ask that in my interview appointment letter nothing is mentioned about medical just it is written dont bring your x-ray so it seems understood that i do my medical a week before my interview.

Secondly i want to ask u about the visa fees. first it is written immigrant visa fees is 380 dollars and plus u had to pay 100 dollars. Moreover it is written k-1 fees is 100 dollars so tell me how much fees i had to pay it is 380 dollars or 100 dollars

Pls help me on this as i had to give them exact amount and dont want to be confused about the fees i had to pay

Congratulations!

Laney is right, you'll be there the same day as my fiance. Yes, you will need the medical at the interview. You can get it now, you don't have to wait till the week before. They suggest not getting it too early, so it doesn't expire before the whole process is over (it's good for 1 year).

Are you in ISB area? If so, you and my fiance should get together and practice for the interview. He's been to the embassy a bunch so knows the proceedures too, if you have any questions. PM me and I'll put you two in touch.

Thanks everybody and wishing me good luck i keep u post with my interview.

My hubby needed his EAD card in order to get a SSN. If your wife does not need to work, you might as well wait until she gets her green card to go get her SSN. Save yourself some cash.
