here is my question:

anyone know how long it takes for the embassy to lick the visa on the passport?

Jeremy!

It usually takes couple weeks to tranfer the file from the NVC to the embassy and from there it takes another 4-6 weeks to send out the packet due to the lazy dumbs sitting over there. You get the interview letter normally couple months earlier.

Calling the embassy is a waste and useless, they don't even know what they tells you.

I agree! if you want to know what the embassy is doing with your case call DOS.

here is the number.. have your case number and your spouse Birthdate..

First of all congrats to shon and Javed. You guys are symbol of courage. Wish u a happy life together.

Now................................

Something strange is happening with my wife's I-130 at NVC. I have called them and told them that we will, INSHA ALLAH, do AOS, but...............................

even though she never sent or emailed them DS 3032, I recieved IV fee bill stating that they have recieved DS 3032. I called NVC and the operator confirmed that DS 3032 has been recieved despite my assertion that she never sent them one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!More interesting........ yestarday, I recieved instructions on downloading and submitting the I-864 because, somehow, they have recieved the AOS fee bill. Now, for that to happen, I had to send them a money order of $70.00, which I never did. Whats happening???????????? what should I do?????????

My wife was interviewed for K3 yesterday at ISL and she got it without any problem. She had tons of supporting material with her but was only asked for a few things. The (male) interviewer asked about me (how long have I been in US, what do I do, How did I got my citizenship), I-134, and a couple of our wedding pictures. After collecting so much material and having spent so long researching and preparing, this was a bit surprising but certainly welcome. She says another lady interviewed for immigrant visa was put on AP.

Well thats it and best of luck to all of you!
