Hi everyone.

I am doing a K3 visa for my wife in Pakistan. I just got my I129 approval letter, and a notice from NVC that they are now transferring my case to Pakistan.

How can I check if the consulate has received it, and is there a way to check if they sent the packet to my wife yet, and a tracking number?

Thanks!

the lady with all the excuses, yeah, my point exactly, all about you. That's fine, i guess i no longer have a need to come here any way, the only one who ever helped was Mary, thank you Mary for all your help and sincere support.

O yeah, you are talking about me taking things personal? i can't count how many angry posts you have made, or let me guess, that was everyone else's fault that they are taking it personal, not you? I don't go angry or upset for no reason, i've been made to feel this way by the people on this site. That's all, anyway, i've said what i wanted to, after so long of biting my tounge...i'll stop raining on your precious parade.

RKhalid,

First of all my heartiest congratulations on getting IR1 visa for your husband. I can definitely feel how happy you and your family would be on this. It is certainly great news and came as a New Year and Eid gift.

Secondly, when we have great news like this and share it with others, particularly when we think of them as friends by chatting here on VJ, and do not get expected response we feel as if they are not happy about this. I think this is not the case. If someone does not express it to the level we expect, it does not mean that he/she is not happy for you.

Thirdly, we feel that if someone has not posted a direct response to our question, that person is not helpful. They may not have had anything to share or may have posted similar information somewhere else. It is better for someone not to post anything than to post something wrong and misleading.

Wish you and your husband good luck with your new life in the US.

Sufi

guest234, you can do it 2 ways, call embassy or email them and ask them if they have recieved it yet. also you can go to dhl.com(http://track.dhl-usa.com/TrackByRef.asp?nav=TrackByRef) and track it.

1. go to www.dhl.com

2. click on track by reference at the top

3. type in "expedite NIV section"

4. and choose like a date when NVC mailed your packet.

. it will take them time to recieve it and they will send the packet out to your wife. you can once again call them like every other day or skip a day and they will let you know. You can look at my timeline to get an idea of how long it might take. the time can vary
