lawyers lie. Let me just tell you this. I have tried everything, I had the honourable Senator Carl Levin call himself to the embassy ( not one of his aides). I had a letter from him and my congressman with an official US government business seal!

It didnt do nothing, you had contacts in the INS, you know it yourself, once in clearance I dont even think President Bush can do anything. If you want to still keep trying that it fine, but I dont think its worth the effort.

I understand that you need to college, but you will have to wait, I waited for one year in Pakistan doing nothing, it was hard, but I had no choice, trust me stressing about it wont help.

The lawyer is giving you the run around, dont listen to him of her, the CANNOT tell you how long the visa will take. Probably you called the lawyer one too many times and he is just saying this one month think, but for ur sake i hope its true and visa gets approved soon, but no way someone can predict it will be one month, it could be tommorow it could be God knows when...

today my husband received a call from the embassy asking whether he has ever been to malaysia/indonesia etc and whether this is his 1st pakistani passport. he answered no and yes. then she said you're still on administrative review and your case is being processed. what does all this mean?

Hey Yes i got Call from Embassy on 2nd Week Of This month and they Asked me Same Questions, "have u Ever been Abroad? , i said yes to DUBAI, man Asked any Where Else? i Said No, he asked how many passports u have i told, ..then he said ok send us your "passports" we are working on your case... after i sent my passports.... :crying: they requested an other Security Check from DOS on 18th December..

i ODnt understand What Securtiy check is now.. Dos Says it can take 10 to 120 days

OK! I just called Islamabad Embassy and they told me that my husband's visa was approved yesterday (the day they called him and asked all those questions). It will be printed and stamped within a day or two and will be sent out to him this week. Is it still too early to celebrate?

I think Its Time to Celebrate  thats great, MashaAllah.... Hey how much time u have been on AP? Praying to listen Same news for Me and All others here - Ameen
