Joel is correct in saying that CR1 has to submit their information prior to getting the interview date. K3 and K1 does that at the time of interview. The CR1 just needs to bring copies of submitted documents and continuation of proof of the marriage.

Good luck Danika and Ali on getting an interview date soon.

Mary

Hello Mary,

What if i don't have photo copies of the submitted documents ?? Then what options i have ?

Thanks

Hello Mary,

What if i don't have photo copies of the submitted documents ?? Then what options i have ?

you will get a list of documents needed for your interview.. this check list you will need to bring to the interview if you are k1 or k3. rember nothing has been submitted at this point.

example your I-134, medicals etc,,,

now if you have already had K-3 interview its now your CR1/ir1 INTERVIEW then when you get the checklist like we did. what I did was write a letter to the embassy tell them what documents they had

example orginal marriage papers, passport and submitted the remainder of the check list. I even called the embassy and went over my list to make sure I had the correct things.

ATIF,

Hang in there buddy !!!!this chittt is too hard for me too. 5 months on this one bloody check.

this wait is hell. I have been missing my gorgous hubby so much and there is nothing I can do.

so if anyone get off AP/AR better thank god and never ever place their self in a situation to be on it again,

that is directed TO MICHIGAN ali.... your off AP/AR so you claim.. better not willingly get back on it. its not some tea party.

Zaki your case is CR1 and we had the copies of everything submitted stateside so I sent them to Mian and the CO did not look over them. I just felt if they had any questions he could produce documents it is not required. Do not worry if you do not have copies of these papers. Just make sure your have your proofs of ongoing relationship like phone bills, pictures, cards, email, etc for your interview.

RKhalid I know you are so excited about going home to see your husband. May you and Ali have a wonderful trip :D .

babybunny and a1v/Atif I am so sorry that your still separated from your loved ones and may you soon be reunited. Like I have said in the past this is the hardest stage and I would not wish AR/AP on my enemy. Hang in there and I am still keeping ALL in my duas.
