Hello VJ members,

What will be in Packet 4 exactly?? I sent the required documents (Packet 3.5 )to US embassy in Islamabad. All original documents i.e Marriage certificate, birth certificate etc sent, the question is after they review my documents will they send back the all documents to me ??? So i will take them on interview date.

Packet 4 is your actual interview letter and after the interview you can request the originals if they do not hand them back immediately. They gave the originals back to my husband except but one or two wedding photos when they finished his interview. Good luck.

umm! did it ever occur to you that I applied for a visa to canada for a visit! I am going there for thanks giving with the wifey and then off to Niagra falls!

Hey Ali! First, have a great time... Second. I head to Calgary about 4 times a year for meetings and I would like the hubby to join me once in awhile. Was it hard to get the Canada Vistor Visa as a Paksitani citizen?

Lanseyyyyyy! No it wasnt hard at all to get the visa. Just didnt like paying the 135 dollar Multiple entry fee lol!

I am using Gulf Air , first time though..before i always used PIA, but wasn't so great...my flight leaves Dec 18th, returns Jan 8 to and from Karachi, i'll have a night stay on the way there in Oman...sounds like fun.. :hehe:

holy smokes- I think learned something new here.. KLM goes to PK?

does KLM go to Lahore? or where.. I can fly on KLM for free..

they fly to holland from here. I never tought of flying on them .

btw, does anyone know if british airlines goes to PK.

yea, i'll get free hotel stay in oman, and meal and transportation is provided to and from airport..sounds good to me

man thats too much, i took klm a few years back and the stay 8 hr stay in amsterdam was too much. PIA all the way for me, cheap tickets plus. 8 hrs from here to manchester, 8 hrs to islamabad or lahore(your choice) and 2 hrs to karachi. have a good day. no stay no nothing.

michigan i though KLM does not go to pakistan anymore? its a good airline though. emirates is good as well.

PIA was offering direct flight from NY to islamabad, but because of security issues, they have to visit a european country.

I have a long flight ahead of me. I go from fairbanks to anchorage to taiwan, then to bangkok on china airlines, then finally Bangkok to Lahore on thai airways. Not to mention i had to make a separate reservation for fairbanks to anchorage on Alaska airlines becouse it wouldnt let me make one reservation from fairbanks. :angry: So i have to pick up my luggage in anchorage and put it through again. About 30 hours of travel time. I know i am gonna look a mess by the time i get there. :wacko:
