Also let me ask some few stupid questions, please hep me I want to be 2 steps ahead from USCIS. Lets say My I-129F will approved very soon. What I have to get prepared for net.

1) Choice of Agent form, do I have to put my name as agent here in USA or my wife back in pakistan?

Yes you sign for yourself as the agent in the USA.

2) What other document should i prepared once case transfered to NVC from VSC?

I would start getting my financials ready to submit.

3) What documents i should start collecting for my wife to take it to embassy for interview?

You need pictures, emails, any gift receipts, travel documents, and phone records to show ongoing relationship.

4) As soon as case move to Embassy from NVC? its possible my wife can schdule medical test by herself, so she can safe some time?

No she has to have her letter that comes in packet 3.5 and it has a list of doctors that she may go to.

5) Doctor will be assigned by embassy or she can goto any respectable doctor?

See above reply and good luck. Mary

Please help me, I have strong feelings my case will be approved somewhere in next week from VSC. Any help and suggestions are welcome. Salam to all.

By the way, anyone here from Virginia (or DC metro area)?

Thanks all

hello all. i hope everyone is good. anyone get their visas in the past month or so?

as for my husband, he's still under ap/ar.

however, he received a letter from the islamabad embassy stating that they will schedule hime for his immigrant visa interview within the next 3 months. he already had his interview for the non-immigrant visa back in april. since that interview he's been on ar/ap.

is this the normal procudre to go thru 2 interviews?

has anyone else on the forum received one of these letters from islamabad embassy as well?

thanks for any responses as we're getting frustrated with this whole process.

molly

Molly I will say that he will have to interview since it is for a totally different interview. And this sounds like what happened with Shonnie's case. Once they start security checks on the K3 they cannot be stopped until they clear all agencies. Then they will process the CR1. In our case my files got to the embassy within one week of the other and they cancelled my K3 and never let it proceed.

God Bless you and wishing you all the best.

Mary

Hafiz, i did not send my k-3 package to vermont, i mailed it to chicago.

MaryandMian: Thank very much for your answers and time.

mary, if i get my financial documents, lets say: Bank statement, employer letter, stocks and so on. Its ok to be dated this early? don;t they require all financial documents within last 30 days?

Also I work as consultant, my question is, what if my project ends (lets say week before my wife interview at embassy) this will be a big problem? Do I have to have a job to support her? Bank balance and stocks won;t help?

Thanks ALL

Congratulations Ali on being home with Judi now. I know what you mean it all seems to melt away the AR/AP ####### once you are reuntied. So hard to explain to anyone that has not already walked in those shoes. Congrats again and may you enjoy your reunion and get life back on track now.

Mary

takram2000 the financials were sent inside the states to be processed ahead of time on my CR1 and you will get them this way if your doing the CR1. The K3 you will have to submit it at the embassy and it will need to be current. My K3 got to the embassy and was cancelled since the CR1 arrived one week later.

Sorry I cannot answer your other questions but maybe someone else can help with the projected income etc.

I do advise reading up on the financials and getting the paperwork in order to start your processing and the forms are on the USCIS site.

Salaam

this depends on how long he has lived in Europe, what his status in Europe is, and how long he is going to remain in Europe.

Chances are he will have to file in Europe, which in itself is no biggy, if this is the case then make sure he stays put until all reviews are done and visa is in hand. a case transfer to Pakistan is virtually non existant you will have to start all over(inteview, security checks not to mention transfer time)

Packet 4 is your actual interview letter and after the interview you can request the originals if they do not hand them back immediately. They gave the originals back to my husband except but one or two wedding photos when they finished his interview. Good luck.
