3) Once I-129F approved, that should I expect, I will recieve NOA2 right? then what need to be done.

4) Choice of agent? Do i have to assign to myself here in USA or my wife in karachi?

5) I need all information, anything that help me out in this entire process.

Just got my passport! I still am looking at it and dont believe it. I am going back home!!!!!

Awesome news :dance::dance: Guess you will be home next few weeks inshallah and what a blessing for you and Judy to be reunited.

Here are my questions to you all.

1) Do I-130 need to be approved in order to apply k-3 visa based on I-129F?Yes, you should of had a NOA1 before you could submit the I-129f for the K-3 process.

2) What if I-130 approved before I-129F, then what will be my option?

If your I-130 is approved ahead of time you will be petitioning for the CR1 or IR1 for your wife. It means that she will have work authorization and a 2 year greencard or 10 year greencard depending on length of marriage and will not have to file for EAD once she arrives in the states if she wishes to work.

3) Once I-129F approved, that should I expect, I will recieve NOA2 right? then what need to be done. Once the I-129f or the I-130 are approved you will get NOA2. Then the cases are sent to NVC. Also, as Hafiz says I give history lessons. Click on my name and look at my timeline for the NVC processing.

4) Choice of agent? Do i have to assign to myself here in USA or my wife in karachi?Choice of agent is for the USC or their attorney to be able to speak for the overseas partner. I was the Choice of Agent for my husband's case.

5) I need all information, anything that help me out in this entire process.Sit back and relax you still have some ways to go. Hopefully, they will have your citizenship updated soon and your case should move forward more quickly.

6) Usually how long its takes?Takes some time and no one can give you an exact timeline.

Love to hear from you all.

allah Hafiz

Good luck to everyone and come on Islamabad let's have some more good news.

Yes Ali that is why I said all you needed was the pending I-130 NOA 1 to get the the K 3 paperwork started.

Hi everyone

congrats michigan. Welcome to U.S. in advance :D

INSHA ALLAH we will be together in AOS thread. I am INSHA ALLAH filing AOS soon for my wife. For now the most important thing has been to register her with the hospital and get her covered under my medical insurance. Plus all the dawat shawat and milna milana with friends and families here. I think that explains why I am absent from this lovely thread where I met my most sincere friends in life.

Good luck everyone.

Specially good luck to u shon. U are in our prayers. How's Javed? say Assalam-o-Alaikum to him.

no more AP Shon! I am gonna opt for AOS in the US. Forget Consular processing. The day I got the visa, there was this girl, on K-3 and she was now there for IR-1. The CO was asking a whole bunch of wierd questions like why did she opt for CP instead of AOS.

I dont want to go through Admin processing again! Forget that!
