OMG!!! I'm so sorry to hear that! There is nothing worse than people who play with your hearts for their own gain! I'm glad that you found out before he came!

Have you tried e-mailing the consulate? Also, the Service center that approved your initial petition would be very interested to hear this. If they re-evaluate the initial petition and revoke it then it will take away his status to hold a fiance visa.

Good luck to you!

Freeni, I would contact the embassy and withdraw the petition and check with the NVC on how to stop it as well. I am sorry that things did not work out. Good luck and stay strong.

I think you can send one letter to embassy and an other to NVC just keep them update that your marriage terminated legally but in order to do that you should have to have ‘Marriage Termination Certificate’ Divorce Certificate.

you are married. you have to file a real DIVORCE.. since you never did the deed

you can go for annullment. keep in mind if you persue annullment he has to agree to it and sign the paper. you can divorce your husband in your state but, the law sayes he has to be notified that your divorceing. he also has to be allowed to respond. you can post in the news paper in the city that you married. there is a time you have to run this posting. have your attorney explain this process to you. you would be filing uncontested divorce. Make sure you have in your decree that if he decides to FIGHT you for divorce that he has to pay for all your fees. this standard on divorce petitions anyways. secondly, there is a form you need to fill out to request withdrawl of petition. ask your attonrney about it or look on USICS web sites. under FAQs. good luck and god speed.

do the signtures have to match on the g325a and the passport and the police certificate and the marriage certificate??? what if they are different? do they look at this factor.

I would say its a factor. how could your signature be diffrent on various pages?

either its YOU or NOT
