interview went very well

didnt ask too many questions and hardly asked for many supporting documents

the C.O. even said if he could have given the visa-he wuld have given my hubby the visa immediately..but unfortunately we have to go through admin review which he said will not take more than 4 months

.insha allah i will be goin back home in a less than 3weeks!!

can't wait :)

ALHAMDULILLAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations. Have a nice time during vacation and hopefully he gets visa soon and comes back with you. INSHA ALLAH.

Your interview in Dallas was for the approval of I-130. Which they did! So it doesnt have to anything with the actual issue of the visa through DOS. You have to realize the USCIS and DOS are two different entities.

The USCIS had doubts about the bonafides of your marriage, so they conducted an interview. They were satisfied, so they approved it and send it to NVC and then to DOS. So now u are on DOS's mercy.

2005-06-05 : I-129F filed with NBC

2005-06-16 : I-129F NOA1

2005-08-26 : I-129F RFE

2005-09-19 : Approved (Confirmation in Email from INS)

2005-11-01 : Interview at the US Embassy, Islamabad

2006-10-31 : Visa Approved (One year of Administrative Processing)

2006-11-02 : Picked up Visa from Amex

2006-11-19 : Arrival in the US POE Chicago

My wife got her interview date in October. MashAllah. I was surprised by this date, becuase she just send her papers 1 week back through Amex. :dance:

I was thinking that I will get an interview date around Febuaray. I hope everyone thing goes well and smooth on her interview. InshAllah.

I will pray for everyone else who is going through AP/AR. May Allah unite all of our partners in happiness and peace.

06/16/2006: Received IV Bill form and I-864 package.

AFTER THE EMBASSY'S REQUEST TO RENEW MY NBI CLEARANCE AND MEDICAL REPORT WHICH I SUBMITTED LAST SEPTEMBER 7, 2006, HERE IS THE BEST GOOD NEWS I EVER HAD. FOR EVERYONE OF YOU WHO ARE STILL HOPELESSLY WAITING FOR YOUR VISA... FINALLY AFTER 2 YEARS AND 3 MONTHS OF WAITING, LAST SEPTEMBER 12, 2006, TO MY SURPRISE, MY VISA WAS DELIVERED TO ME BY DELBROS. THANK GOD, THANK GOD! YEHEY!!! I AM GOING HOME TO MY LOVEYDOVEY.

NOW I WISH THE BEST OF LUCK TO ALL OF YOU. MY PRAYERS ARE ALL YOURS.

AUG 1, 2006 son-in law approved for visa - DOS says didn't recve fingerprints yet as of today - do you people think he will get visa before 2006 is over? Just looking for opinions PLEASE

My daughter is pregnant and due in december 11-
