i just want to scream!

i went to chk the processing dates on https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/Processtim...eviceCenter=CSC

and they havent listed the timings for I 130 for spouse!

i chked on 18th may and they were processing the cases filed on 13th november 2006 and my case was filed on 30th november 2006

we filed at the california service center

now that i have chked i noticed that of out of all four service centres the only service centre showing the I 130 for spouse or child under 21 (we also filed four our son who just turned 1 (MA) ) is the Nebraska Service centre which is showing that the current cases being processed are the ones filed in September 2006

does that mean that the I 130s for spouse and child under 21 has been transfered to Nebraska Service centre??

if thats what happened then its ROTTEN coz i got pushed three months back!!!!!

Your I-130 is approved so don't worry about the processing times listed, you case is probably at or on its way to the NVC.

Here is what will happen now: http://www.visajourney.com/examples/NVC_Pr...wchart_v1-2.pdf

thank you so much khurram!

i hope that ur wife and i get our visas soooooon!!!!!!!

Hi all,

Does anyone in this forum know how long it takes to be issued a pakistani visa. Im going to pakistan in Sept to meet my fiancee. Still waiting on my passport. Any knowledge would be greatly appreciated

I am of pakistani origin. When I applied for it using my US passport it took them about two weeks, from the time I sent it to them to the time it was back in my hands. You also have to send in the return envelope for them to return the passport in. I used the USPS EMS mailer, I sent that in with the application, plus you need to send the fee ($110! I think) in USPS postal money order. Get the info by calling the consulate that is in chatge of your state, they should be able to give all the pertinant info over the phone. I think the website info gets out of date, so call them and get all particulars of what is needed, how much fee, what forms, pics, return mailer, address. Now if you are a US citizen by birth, then they may have different rules for you, so you may have a truly refreshing experience (sarcasm). Some other folks on this forum should be able to shed more light on this.

Thanks for into info, now im freaking out cuz my passport isnt due back until middle of aug and i am not pakistani origin. Wonder if i can call the state depart and pay the extra in the middle of processing to have passport expedited?

I donot know should I cry or smile on Islamabad consulate.

they send interview letter K-3 packet for September 26.

they should have just told me to "leave us alone" , "come back in Pakistan and live here" or forget about bringing your wife in US.

I guess I'll be crying too, as they have set my wifes K-3 interview for September 11th. I do not get the way out there dates. On monday their email reply said they were still waiting on the physical file, so I called and told my wife this may not be the week to watch out for the delivery man, but keep an eye out anyways. Today they deliver packet 3.... Apparently folks at ISL do not have a clue as to what is going on in their own embassy. Plus the september date is a real bummer.

Is it normal for ISL embassy to give out interview date after 3 months?

Or is it for K3 visas only?

I am expecting my wife's case to be transfered there early Aug, should I expect interview date for December?

K3 is usually 3 months. Our CR 1 was at embassy in August and interview was 6 months later for December. Hang in there everyone.

Everything I respond to is from personal knowledge, research or experience and I am in no means a lawyer or do I claim to be one. Everyone should read, research and be responsible for your own journey.

Hi man, not much we can do. I had been following the interview dates that had been posted here, and (some people still need to post their dates, as it helps others, thats what this site is all about; people helping each other  ) islamabad was giving dates in august so it was a downer when I got my text message at 3:00 AM this morning about the date. I'll talk to my wife, but I probably wont ask them to change the date (assuming they can) as they appear quite cluless at islamabad. Nothing to do but wait, and wait some more. At least now I have a date to count down to, so I thank Allah for that.

Is that true? I have seen post here who have Interview dates assigned 2 to 6 weeks after their case completes at ISL embassy.

Can someone else share their experience please. Thanks
