I am hoping if US embassy could help. if not I am taking flight to US tomorrow 😕

Then i would plan on flying tomorrow..   embassy appointments are restricted .. usually only for USC, embassies aren't alternates for USCIS field offices or applicant service centres .and . will be closed for thanksgiving .. i doubt you will even be able to contact them. I wouldnt feel comfortable  being in your position. Good luck

Got you. So everything was ok because even you did early walked in before the actual appointment notice ?

Yes exactly.

As soon as I got the letter with the appointment date (i received it about a month before the official appointment), I called USCIS to say that I would not be in the US for the appointment. They told me that if I was not showing up, I would have to restart the whole file thing...

that is why I did the walk-in, and i was lucky they took my fingerprints right away
