Living abroad in UAE and 1-130

I currently live in UAE with my husband and we are starting the process of applying for CR-1. We originally filed for K-1 back in August 2021 but that process was taking forever (our case still hasn't even been looked at) so we got married a few months back.  One thing I am confused about is, does the US embassy in Abu Dhabi accept the physical application? Like do I drop it off there? Or do I need to mail it to the US from here? Thanks.

Direct Consular filing (DCF) is only allowed in exceptional circumstances, for example if you (USC) received a job offer in the US and you need to relocate soon. Otherwise, you can apply online for I-130 or mail it in to the US.
