Have you all contacted USCIS? What do they say?

Yes, they said I'm still in the time frame of ''processing time''.
At the end of the interview, the officer who held my interview said ''Just to let you know, it's gonna be a longer than usual wait time. Usually, we only do interviews on the third floor, but as you can see we had to open additional offices on the second-floor bc we have so many N400 applications '' (my interview was on the second floor)
But still, I didn't expect to wait for 8 weeks with no update. 😣

@Despa. What a bummer. I’m sorry. But your are so close. I know I got approved later than you but I’m still hoping I can have my ceremony before November. Wishing all of us some much needed good luck.

Hang in there. So frustrating to deal with USCIS. Can't wait to get this over with and never ever deal with them.

I saw other places are much faster. Saw somebody from Phoenix got everything done in 3 months (application to oath). Chicago seems super slow.

any news guys, i had my interview (in Chicago) on sep 8th, and still waiting for the oath ceremony too

No update yet. I'm concerned because they didn't even update my case that I had the interview. It still says ''interview scheduled''. I don't know what is going on. 😣

@Despadid you initially file N-400 online?? " i think" when you file online they update the online status faster than mail fillers. but anyways you should be fine if you received the approval of passing the interview from the officer after the interview.

Yes, filed online and yes, I did receive the approval of passing the interview from the officer. And like I mentioned before in one of the posts he told me that the wait time will be longer than usual, but it has been almost 2 months since the interview.

May be they are planning to do oath ceremony in bulk like they did in July. We are just a number for them.

ya its kind of frustrating ... but the positive thing is we are all waiting so its not something wrong in a specific case its just a general delay on all of us ... btw the officer told me also its going to take a bit longer 6-8 weeks till the oath since there will be alot official holidays in sep and oct

Yeah that's true. We are all in same boat so that's a relief that it's just a delay. I hope to they schedule it soon. I am in my 9th week of waiting. Have to plan travels accordingly.

I just talked to the USCIS agent, and she said that she can see that I'm recommended for approval and that my case is in the mail for the oath. She said that there is a 90days period, and If I don't receive the oath by then that I should call them back.

Maybe they’ll do something neat like a mass ceremony at Soldier Field. As long as it’s not Wrigley. I’d actually postpone my ceremony and wait for another date, lol. j/k

i couldnt get hold of USCIS agent, every time i call the service center, its always the automated response and it doesnt connect me to an agent. i tried to send them msgs on my USCIS account and they dont respond. 

did she means by 90 days period from your interview date??
