So if they know I’m here an don’t know about my case, there is nothing we can do and we can’t let those people know I’m legally here. And I’m a human and I have a family

Your case is not going to help your brother prove that he will return home. They can already see you did not return home and married and adjusted in the US

Meet ur brother in the Bahamas.

Unfortunately in the eye of USCIS u are not the only one who is human and have a family. Many many people also deal with the same issue with your issue. I haven’t meet my parents for over 6 years. Immigration is not a joke

Thx Sandranj for all the support! I had already sent the letter earlier and was returned as my ex was not living there.I also checked with employer with whom my ex was working last and one if his friend too but no body knows . Now should i write the name and date of the person,  that i confirmed about my ex. Also so now what should i tell my interviewer if he ask why am i not divorced till now at the time of my interview. Im worried as it’s been 9 years since i saw my ex.Sorry for asking too many questions.🙏

Tell the truth why you didn't file for divorce.

Meet him in the Bahamas? What if I can’t come back? I have a combo card but afraid to leave the country

If you didn't apply for asylum and if you are not in removal proceedings then you can  return to the U.S without any problem.

Thank you all!

I am panicking again, looking for some advice. Got GC approved, wanted to book international flight for a couple of weeks and go see my parents.

I unknowingly violated my prior immigration status years ago, I mentioned it in my 485 application, it was cleared recently, and I got GC approved.

My question is: Is it safe for me to travel now? Can I be still denied entry? What are my options if they don’t let me enter.

If anyone knows about it, please let me know or guide me to a document or something, I would really appreciate it.

A green card holder cannot be denied re-entry into the U.S, but the person  can be referred to an Immigration hearing if the person has a criminal record  or if the green card holder lives abroad . If you NEVER applied for asylum then you can travel to your home Country, and you will be able to reenter without any problem.

If you sent to USCIS everything from your abuse pictures etc etc etc why they gonna denied your case ?
they can ask for a RFE but denied a case with a lot evidence …I don’t think so

That’s why I never thought that way cause I sent to then everything …pic, police report , restraining order, hospital visit etc etc etc
