OH MY LORDDDDD!
thank you Jesus for never letting my hopes die.

After a long long journey 4y6mos my case I360 was approved today 🙏

I has been so stressful and exhausting also I’ve spent a lot money with bad decisions on hiring lawyer. 2 lawyers and 1 lawyer specialist on mandamus has worked on my case !
I didn't know nothing about this forum when I started my process, I certainly wouldn't have spent so much Money , but thanks god it’s already paid 🙏

I believe the uscis took action on my case base on my mandamus there I filled on September 19.

I will keep you guys posted from another movements

keep your hope everyone !

Time line

i360 - 2018 ‘Newark office’

I 475 - 2018 still pending.

Congratulations

Can you please let me know of the lawyer you used for your mandamus. I am 2019 filer and must be on my 8th Prima Facie by now which they just sent last week. Will really appreciate the info on the lawyer. Thank you

Hi, I would love some insight on this matter. So I applied for VAWA along with everything else and I got approved for my work permit and travel without doing a biometric. However today I received a letter in the mail about my biometric appointment scheduled for the 20th which already passed and it’s 3 hrs away from me. I immediately called USCIS to see if they could rescheduled but was told my lawyer had to do it. All my mails are sent to her first because her address is my safe address since I don’t have a stable place. Couple days before getting the Biometric notice I received my EAD in the mail but on the bottom it said not authorized for re entry eventho my travel permit was approved and on the approval notice it said the EAD card that is mailed to me would have I-512 endorsement on it to indicate I’ve been approved to travel.. do you think it was an error of USCIS to not have included my approval for travel on the card? I have not received any other documentation giving me approval for same.

When it's a combo is written" SERVES AS I-512 ADVANCE PAROLE".If they didn't write this,  your congressperson or attorney should contact the VSC.

Can’t say precisely when it will get to you but expect it from 4-7days after it says card is being mailed to you. Your I-485 will be sent to your local office anytime now..you’ll likely get the notification. Hopefully it will be a brief wait. But hey the determining factor is over with. So rest easy.😊👍

Yee-HAAAAA!

[Note to T-B.'s self:  Joke worked again... joke worked again...  :P ]

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Congrats on your approval. It might not be the mandamus cos Newark has been getting lots of traction. My 2018 case is also with the Newark office. Looks like they finally woke up from a long nap lol 😂
