Sunday -- time for our lucky Official Weekly VAWA-Thread Joke:

=============================

Tour guides at vacation hot spots have had to field these questions:

Does the sun set every night?

Are the Amish in season?

When do they turn off the waterfalls?

How many miles of undiscovered caves are there?

Why is the "closed for cleaning" sign on the restroom?

How come all of the war's battles were fought in national parks?

Why don't you have better marking in the places where trails do not exist?

Is this the same moon that we see in Vermont?

If it rains, will the fireworks be held inside?

:P

My i-485 status shows fingerprints applied, what will happen next ?when would i get rfe for medicals? Can someone explain the process until i get GC in my hands?

Your file should be at your local field office. They will either send you a RFE for medical or interview notice. Check the processing time of your local field office.

I would like to know do we need flu Vaccine for the medical?

I just called a clinic and i was told by the representative that in order for me to do a medical i need to have flu vaccines as well. I never heard of this before. How true is that?

I never had flu vaccine in my life.

I remember that when I got my medical done it was not the season for flu vaccine so the doctor wrote in I-693 not season for flu vaccine. I think if you get your I-693 then doctor will require to have flu vaccine.

This is indeed what reportedly happens.

The flu vaccine is valuable to get for multiple medical reasons.  I personally would never go without getting one.

Depends if it's flu season when you do your medicals. If yes - yes, if no - no. Flu season generally overlaps with Fall and Winter seasons, so right now - yes you will need a flu vaccine.

Personally I never bothered with flu shots in my life and really only had the flu once or twice in my lifetime. But it is what it is, get the jab, get that medical done, and get your green card.
