my field office...that was the address listed on the thing but ymmv

That's right.

The address to mail the medical is ALWAYS listed on the RFE itself.

So, you are not the one guessing location it should be mailed.

Always read the RFE carefully and obey diligently all the instructions therein.

I forgot you will need to complete a I-864W. You have to mail it to the new VAWA address.

File 864w along with 824 or mail it to the NVC after the 824 is approved? Isn’t 864w filed at the NVC stage?

No. It is all sent in one package to the new VAWA address.

I didn’t submit 864w when I mailed in the 824 to the vawa address. I was told that the 864w should be mailed with the DS-260 to the NVC after the 824 approval and upon receiving the NVC welcome letter. Are you saying I should’ve sent the 864w to the vawa address when I requested 824?

No problem. You can still submit it later.

You guys I am so worried, I sent my medicals to my FO with usps priority but I forgot to add signature confirmation, so now I'm worried usps could mark it as delivered but it could be lost or something. This immigration process is giving me premium anxiety.

No need of being worried.

Wether signature's confirmation or not, your medical has been delivered if the USPS tracking says so.

I sent mine without any signature's confirmation.

They are professional with in their mailing department.

The best tonic for turning gray hairs back to their original color is our Semiofficial Semiweekly VAWA-Thread Joke:

=============================================
THE GOOD PARROTS AND THE BAD PARROTS

A lady went to her priest one day and told him, "Father, I have a problem.  I have two female parrots, but they only know how to say one thing."

"What do they say?" the priest asked.

"They say, 'Hi!  We're prostitutes.  Do you want to have some fun?'"

"That's obscene!" the priest exclaimed.  "I can see why you're embarrassed."

He thought for a minute, and then said, "I have a solution for this problem.  I have two male parrots whom I have taught to pray and read the Bible.  Bring your two parrots over to my house, and I will put them in the cage with Francis and Job.  My parrots can teach your parrots to pray and worship, and to give up their sinful language."

The woman happily agreed, and the next day, she brought her parrots to the priest's house.  She saw the two male parrots inside their cage, holding their rosary beads and praying.  She placed her parrots inside with them.

After just a couple of seconds, the female parrots exclaimed in unison, "Hi!  We're prostitutes.  Do you want to have some fun?"

There was a stunned silence.  Finally, one male parrot said to the other, "Put the beads away, Francis -- our prayers have been answered!"

I am so discouraged. I have been trying to change my address since last year with Vermont. They finally changed it after transferring the case to National Benefits Center; now a RFE has been sent in April and I cannot seem to get it sent to the right address. Congressional office has been trying and still USCIS cannot send it to me.

I write a letter twice per week, mailing it to multiple NBC offices and still nothing.

Awwhhhh!!!!
