AN OLD HUSBAND & WIFE DISCUSS GOLF

 

"How was your golf game, Dear?" asked Jack's wife.

 

"Well, I was hitting pretty well, but my eyesight has gotten so bad that I couldn't see where the ball went."

 

"You're 75 years old now, Jack; why don't you take my brother Scott along?" suggested his wife.

 

"He's 85 years old and doesn't even play golf any longer," protested Jack.

 

"But he has perfect eyesight.  He could watch your ball," said his wife.

 

The next day, Jack teed off as Scott looked on.  Jack swung, and the ball disappeared down the middle of the fairway.

 

"Do you see it?" asked Jack.

 

"Yup," Scott said.

 

"Well, where is it?" Jack yelled, peering off into the distance.

 

"I forgot."

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

KEEPING IT ALL INSIDE

 

A very attractive young lady was sitting in a fine restaurant one night.  She was still feeling bloated from lunch, and she was fearful of farting in front of her date, who hadn't arrived yet.

 

It wasn't long before she actually did let one out, but she managed to cover up the sound with a fake cough.  She continued to wait for her date to arrive, but she wanted to make sure everything was perfect.

 

As she bent down in her chair to get her mirror from her purse, she accidentally farted quite loudly, just as the waiter walked up.

 

Sitting up straight now, embarrassed and red-faced, knowing that that everyone in the place heard her, she turned to the waiter and said, "Stop that!"

 

The waiter looked at her drily and said, "Certainly, madam.  Which way was it headed?"

Hey quick question. Finally got my proceedings dismissed so right now I'm just waiting on a copy of the order before I file my I-485.

Can we use G-1450 to pay for the I-485? Previously it was only for application sent to lockboxes, right now it says lockbox or service center. Did they change it? Any special consideration with VAWA?

U can use G-1450. Make sure to call the bank and let them now there’s gonna be transaction $1,225 soon. Sometimes G-1450 bounced back. I personally prefer personal cheque
