Hi Balo. Thanks for confirming. I will remove 4,5,6. However on USCIS website it says to include copy of electronic I-94 printout - is this necessary for a renewal?

No. I-94 is unnecessary for I-131, and with I-765 it's only necessary for categories where the EAD is contingent upon the non-immigrant status (e.g. E visa for derivative spouse), (c)(9) is contingent only on having a pending I-485.

In this case only things you need to send are the forms I-765 and I-131, copy of I-485 receipt, and copy of the previous combo card.

Contradictions without citations only make you look dumb.

To bring my lawyer to the interview or not? I was initially planning on going in just by myself - I'm usually pretty good at interviews and employers have told me I keep things lighthearted and am easy to interact with so that's what I was planning to do. I thought maybe having my lawyer in with me would make things too formal and I like to be able to joke around lol. But of course now, I'm having second thoughts. This is, after all, the most important interview of my life. Thoughts?

If you can afford, always bring a lawyer to interviews! They can take notes and their presence can help keeping IO in check. They can stop interviewer from being unreasonable and in tough case can insist on seeing their manager.

Okay one more question... Anyone who has had an interview, could you please share your experiences? What questions to prepare for? What documents they wanted? What it was like, in general? I looked through the thread but it looks like most people have gotten their interviews waived. I'm so sorry for all the questions, I'm so nervous.

Really different for everyone depending on your case and what officer you get as well. Mine is not so recent but I do hope it helps.. I went through my whole case again especially the I-360 just in case I got a feisty officer. But I had an angel. Was out shortly after I got in. Yes or no questions..to approval. Soon as I stepped out of Federal Plaza the notifications 🔔 hit. Still remember that feeling.😊 Go with the originals of your documents related to the petition. Go over your case. Be confident and if an officer starts to do too much, request for a supervisor. I think you’ll be alright.👍

Had a lawyer that was fully paid but didn’t show up as early as I did but I was confident..She called me and said not to go in until she gets there. I went in and got approved. Lawyer is great if you can afford it. It doesn’t guarantee anything besides how you get treated. But if you get a decent officer, it really doesn’t matter. From a financial point of view, if your case is not complicated, you’ll be alright by yourself.. but if it is complicated, then it’s worth going with a lawyer. My take.👍
