I followed all the steps and send it to the carol stream office since I live in Wisconsin

You could try Fed Ex or UPS.  It is important to get it back ASAP.  Did you file after your 90-day window opened?

FedEx, UPS, and DHL deliveries:

I usps and the address that was provided through them

That’s unfortunate, resend everything and use UPS or fedex this time since it was a no-go for some reason with USPS.

Agree.  I would go with UPS or Fedex as well.

  1. The check should have been $595 (751 fee) plus $85 for the biometric fee, totaling $680. Is that the amount you sent?
  2. Your timeline is not complete (please do so!) but your profile says IR-CR1 visa. Which visa did you come with?

Just note the wording as terms have very specific meaning in the USCIS process and using the incorrect meaning can lead to confusion

You entered the US on a one time immigrant visa .. CR1 .. spouse visa.

The moment you entered you were granted the status of Lawful Resident

Because you had been married less than 2 years at time of entry, your LPR status was valid for 2 years only .. you had a conditional Green Card

In order for your status to become Permanent, you must apply for Removal of Conditions .. using the I751 form.

Pedantic I know .. but correct usage of words minimizes confusion  for everyone

Hope things are sorted out for you soon
