I (petitioner) recently had no choice but to move and my address has changed. We were DQd prior to me moving and are still waiting for our interview to be scheduled at the Cairo embassy. Can anyone advise on how to update my new address?

Hello!

If you go to the "Case Status" page on the USCIS website there is a link for an address change. I had to do this as I moved right after filing and the change was quick and easy. They typically send a letter or email of verification once the address has been registered in their systems and that only took a few days for me.

Hope this helps!

Your beneficiary should request an update to the address info on the DS-260 at the consulate on the day of the visa interview.
