Hello,

I am filling out the I-129F. I currently live at one address. My new house is being built and I will be moving there in ~6 months.  For Section 8 (Mailing Address), do i put my current address or the address I will be moving to?

Same for Section 45 - Address in the US where your beneficiary intends to live.  She will arrive obviously much later than 6 months from now so I assume I put my new address?

Current address.  You should get a permanent mailing address so that you don’t miss NOA1 and NOA2.

For intended address put your best guess down.

Current address. You can change address when you move into your new home.

It may not be necessary but when you move, you could always pay for a couple months so that any mail in your name that goes to your previous address can be forwarded on to you. That way you shouldn’t miss the NOA2.

Also make sure you check updates online so that you know when you should expect to receive the NOA2 from USCIS. That way you can chase it up if needed.

Good luck!

I moved in the middle of my I-129F application. I had to change my address, i did not really know how to approach it so i called my lawyer and they charged me 35 dollars to change it. Not sure if this was a fee from the firm or for the USCIS, but whatever i did it anyways and had it changed.

USCIS doesn’t charge for that
