Getting an interview IR1

Hi I applied for my husband in 2020 and he was approved I been waiting on an interview since 2020 do anyone know what year or month immigration is scheduling because I have a friend who applied for her husband after me and he already have his interview I m thinking people have inside help and they are skipping the line can someone give me any info and immigration said there is no wait for green cards I don't know why I'm still waiting so long.

This is how it works at NVC:  When was his case DQ'd?

 

1. Case is DQ'd by NVC.

2. Case then enters NVC queue for your consulate and waits at NVC.

3. Consulate informs NVC of available interview date for upcoming month.

4. NVC schedules interview when case reaches the front of the queue for that consulate.

5. NVC notifies person of interview date via email.

6. NVC then sends case to consulate.

After the interview is scheduled, it can take several days to several weeks for the consulate to receive the case.

Hi thank you but I know all the process I just cant understand what's the hold up It was qualified Nov 2020

Any "inside" help would have to come from NVC since they schedule the interviews.

I don't know what else to do I feel like its taking long they said nothing is wrong its qualified they are waiting on Haiti to send them the amount they they schedule but Haiti is barely scheduling

Unfortunately, Haiti has the longest processing time.   Someone posted today that Haiti has a wait time of 900 plus days.  I believe it was for the entire process, from I-130 submittal to visa being issued.

 

I would keep send an inquiry email to the embassy there.  It should be sent by the USC petitioner.

You were given a link to a thread where other Haiti filers are posting information about their interview dates. At the top of the site, there is also a menu called Immigration Timelines that will summarize the data that Haiti filers have entered on this website. Studying all that info will give you a clearer idea of how much longer your case will take. However, no one can predict exactly how long your case will take and no one will calculate the waiting time for you. You're going to have to help yourself here.
