Hey Everyone,

I'm in the process of gathering documents for my NVC packet.  Just wondering once submitted, are there any recent updates for getting an interview scheduled at the Montreal Embassy and what wait times are looking like as of September 2022?

Thanks!

After submission of requirements, you will need to wait for NVC review.  Timeframe for that is updated weekly here -- https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/nvc-timeframes.html

After completion of NVC review and getting notification that your case is DQ (Documentarily Qualified), that's when your case gets queued for an interview slot at Montreal.  Check the recent updates in the existing mega-thread for DQ cases at Montreal.  Currently, there's a 2 to 3 month wait from DQ to receiving IL (interview letter) for Montreal --
