Much simple to get a E2 Visa from Canada at least that way you are not landlocked.

 

A lot of Lawyers do E2's, and not as if you need to visit them, Immigration Law is Federal.

 

E2 is not simple, well it depends on the nature of the Business, some are pretty much a shoe in others marginal.

I was thinking this landlocked would only be until approved then change of status. But of course it's going complicated when dealing with US immigration. I should of done the other route with the Hollywood producers. Long story.
