file k-3 its free and doesn’t hurt to try it’ll help process your 1-130 faster mines was approved within five months. Because you will be waiting a very long time for interview at embassy in Pakistan probably over 17 months or so

I will talk to my attorney about seeing if we can do that. So far she has recommended I-130 as it is the best way of doing it.

Hello,

We applied too and have a priority date of September 27th and it is almost a year. When I check the website it says the same thing for our I 130 case---Under review status as of February, 2022. We are hanging in there as well but wondering why is it taking so long.

Diane

If anyone looked USCIS reports of I130.

It says during Jan-March 2022

Nebraska Service Center

IR1-CR1 Application Received = 21012

IR1-CR1 Application Accepted = 19344

IR1-CR1 Application Rejected = 24742

IR1-CR1 Application Pending = 37134

USCIS Per day process Petition at NSC = 412

Time it will take to process Pending  files

37134 % 412 per days = 90 Days

I would take that number with a very large amount of skeptism. If you look at historical average processing rates for immediate relative I-130 numbers (which you are quoting, so I'll do the same), for the past two quarters, no Service Center has gone much over 17k cases processed (including Nebraska.) For some reason, maybe its a typo, maybe some sort of wierd fluke due to moving to the online filing system, who knows, that is a staggeringly huge rejection number (24k cases!!) I have a feeling they were given a batch of old/invalid/whatever I-130 cases that they just had to 'do the paperwork' for, but which they never planned to actually complete.

That said, the approval rate out of Nebraska of 19k is actually lower than their normal approval rate - normally they are getting around 20k cases per quarter approved. On the bright side, if you look at last quarter's performance for all service centers in total (74,760 cases approved), they actually reached a record high number (compared to the last 6 quarters.)
