@Scandi Hi, yes I did the first interview for my AOS.

I know there are people waiting for years that’s why I wasn’t really worrying until yesterday that I started watching at other ppl timelines. Some through divorce got approved in 7 and 11 months without an interview. Others were called in for an interview but they didn’t wait longer than a year that’s why I was like mmm looks like they made a decision for July 2021 filers already but me 🤔. But now that I’m reading ppl replies I’m getting my hope again 🥹

@Mobius1 hey, thank you! No I didn’t change the address. Well my attorney gets usually the originals but when they received the 24months ext letter they did not tell me cause the dumb dumb assistant thought that it was only a random copy 🤦‍♀️ like do you even read the notices USCIS sends? I found out cause they sent me the copy and called her and she didn’t even noticed it was an extension  of 24 months instead of 18 💩
yeah I have an USCIS account but they did it even updated it when I went to my fingerprint appointment on December 2021 😟 but like you said they don’t always update the account.
Also, fun fact when I received the biometric appointment notice my attorney did not receive it. Or at least that’s what I was told. But the notice they sent for the biometric me was the original one and not a copy so maybe, for once, the assistant was right lol.

BTW the last time I called there was another assistant picking up the phone so maybe the dumbdumb doesn’t work there anymore hopefully 🎉 🎉

I have an online account which I check everyday 🤣

The money I paid them was only for the I751 filing, let’s say if they send me a RFE or if he  comes to the interview with me he will charge more… but they are required to tell me if they receive anything supposedly! His assistant made so many mistakes I don’t even want to bore you with that 🤦‍♀️
And yeah I really need to move actually!

San Diego is quite lovely…but if you need to go then don’t look back. ..

you can look at your next Field Office movement since you are determined to worry about something…

You are stress-obsess -ing w the daily checks so BASTA!

Hi Leila, My apologies for super late reply. I changed my address once, never miss any important mail. Once you change address online, It updates in USCIS system immediately. Officer didn't ask why I change address at interview.

Here is my timeline:

3/11/2019 - Application received

5/21/2019 - Biometrics Taken

3/26/2020 - Case is transferred to Another Office

12/30/2020 - Contact House Representatives follows up with my case

3/4/2021 - I missed Interview...

3/5/2021 - Went to USCIS office in person w/o an appointment , informed officer interview letter was delay in mail delivery ... they escorted me out.....

3/6/2021 - Received Denial of Petition to Remove Conditions THE NEXT DAY!  (USCIS acts so fast when they deny it, but getting approve takes foreverrrrr)

3/8/2021 - Went to USCIS office in person w/o an appointment again. Request to speak w/ supervisor for another interview. Got another interview AT THE SPOT... I didn't bring any supporting documents  w/ me.. only driver license & passport..... wasn't expected an interview... So the supervisor interviewed me, and when he asked for original documents... I was like... Can I come back in 2 hours... and you already have all the copies... lol Then he was like yes copy is fine... I got approved AT THE SPOT. Interview was short and easy. He knows that I was super anxious and sad b/c denial situation.

WISH ALL THE BEST TO YOU!!!  You will make it to finish line like everyone here.
