Hi,  does anyone have very recent experience in traveling to Ukraine?  Is there anything different than traveling there pre-war.  I assume you fly to Poland and take a train to Kyiv.  Is there a better way?   Also, are there any special documents or ....  needed to cross the border into Ukraine.   thanks

Sounds pretty reasonable, Probably suggest Krakow.

My mom is about to go to Poland from Ukraine and cross back. You can take a bus or a train from Poland, and I believe you won't need anything beyond travel passport and perhaps a reason for your travel plus return tickets. Don't have personal experience, but my Ukrainian family. You are pretty much spot on. Flying into RZE or KRK would be our suggestion and trains (or bus) from there.
