Hi, my fiancé and I are new to visa journey. Our NOA1 for k1 visa is August 23, 2021. It seems that we can maybe get NOA2 by November/December we’re hoping. We are wondering if anyone knows how long the wait time is for Montreal consulate interview for k1 after receiving NOA2? Or if there’s anyone here that’s recently had an interview for k1 at Montreal, how long did you have to wait approximately? Thank you!

Hi everyone. I am wondering does anyone know how long the NVC process is after NOA2? And now long the Montreal consulate takes to schedule and interview for k1? I’ve been looking at traditional wedding dresses in my south asian culture… and they take 3-5 months to be made, shipped, and in my hands. I want that to be the least of my worries and have that done and ready by the time my interview comes around. I should be getting NOA2 any day now, as I’m a august 2021 k1 filer. So I’m just wondering how much longer I can expect the process to be for someone in Canada who applied for the k1 visa. Thank you!

NVC is fairly quick but Montreal is horrible backlogged and you're looking at about six months till interview. That's at least what current timelines show.

Thanks! Do you know any FB groups or anything that I can be directed to in order to follow k1 Montreal timelines?
