03/29/2008 - Mailed AOS packet to Chicago registered mail

04/04/2008 - Delivered to Chicago Lockbox

04-10-2008 - Check cashed!

04-12-2008 - NOA1s arrive for AP & AOS

04-18-2008 - Biometrics appt letter arrives

04-29-2008 - Biometrics appointment!

04-30-2008 - AOS status shows up online

05-16-2008 - AP status shows up online - both AP & AOS are touched!

06-05-2008 - AP touched and email sent saying AP has been approved

06-12-2008 - AP arrives in the mail

07-10-2008 - Interview letter arrives - interview scheduled for 09/05/08

09-05-2008 - Interview in SF (don't bring your cellphone!) -- approved! Email sent saying card has been ordered!

09-13-2008 - Welcome to the United States letter arrives

09-15-2008 - Green card arrives in the mail! YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY

Wow you guys, thank you so much for the best wishes. I just logged on to start a thread about being NERVOUS! I wish I could be at the interview with him, I just really keep picturing him leaving our big file folder on the tube!

I am hoping for the best and am expecting a phone call when he gets out of the embassy sometime in the middle of the night tonight. I'll let you all know :thumbs:

07/20/2007 Visa Interview in London! Approved!!

10/04/2007 Small private wedding!

04/19/2008 Big fancy shmancy wedding!

10/18/2007 Sent entire AOS, EAD, AP package to Chicago

10/19/2007 Package received in Chicago- signed for by V Bustamante

10/25/2007 NOA1 for AOS, EAD, and AP.

It's going to be just fine. As everyone says, it is a total anticlimax and Rich will walk out saying, "All that worrying and then...this?" Yep, it's a walk in the park. Let us know pronto! :thumbs:

I am sure you are right. I'm just finding things to worry about. For example, I've been back in the US for a month now and still haven't found a job, so I am worried they will ask Rich what I do and he has to say "nothing." My parents filled out the I-134, and he is also bringing copies of his savings account statements and his house deeds so we should be fine, but still...

Anyway, thank you for the vote of confidence!

2007-11-23...the dreaded RFE comes...dated Nov 19th

2007-11-24...returned RFE by USPS

2007-11-29...biometrics in buffalo

2007-11-29...touched

2007-12-18...mailed another copy of RFE, delivery confirmation.. just in case they did'nt get first one

2007-12-29...email stating transfer to CSC woohoo

2008-01-02...AOS touched

2008-01-09...AOS touched..stating transfer and pending at CSC.

2008-01-10...AOS touched

2008-01-11...AOS touched

2008-01-11...EAD touched..stating card production ordered... woohoo.

2008-01-11...AP touched

2008-01-16...AP approved

2008-01-18...EAD touch... stating card production ordered..AGAIN

We've been approved!!! Woohoo! I am so relieved and excited. Now if we can just get his passport back in time for his flight on the 31st. We took a risk and booked it awhile ago!
