My wife is on disability and is employed and I am living in the usa now with her and she is filing for adjustment of Status for me so I am using my best friend as my other affidavit of support but my best friend took a break from working and is now unemployed but her past 3 years taxes returns she was making good money can I use her same way even though she is unemployed now and don’t have any job letters?

Pointless using somebody if they do not qualify

Not qualified, it seems.  Tax returns mean nothing since they reflect PAST income.  You need a well-qualified joint sponsor with good CURRENT income or sufficient assets.  In addition, I would exclude the affidavit.

Yes, if that qualified Green Card holder can substantiate sufficient income and/or assets.

Yes.

To be clear your wife will still be your primary sponsor even with 0 income. Her friend will be a joint sponsor. So there will be two separate I-864 affidavit of support forms.

Can a person that is a green card holder with own trucking business be your affidavit of support? My spouse is filling for my adjustment of status but she is unemployed and didn’t file taxes and her friend is trying to be my affidavit of support but he is a green card holder

It is possible. I-864s signed by self employed people who aren’t paid a salary from a non pass through corporation are tricky  to construct and require the signer to “become a student of I-864” as @Crazy Cat and @pushbrk like to say, or hiring a professional (not necessarily a lawyer).  I-864 is the most complex form I’ve ever signed, and that includes mortgage documents and wills.
