Hello everyone, I know this question has been asked before and I have gone through multiple discussions regarding this topic. However, I would like to get some insights specific to my situation.

So my mother is having her interview in 2 weeks and my wife in a month and a half. My mother was DQ’d on June 23, and her interview was scheduled on August 2nd. On September 1, I opened her CEAC account and found the message attached. As you can see, we had a case FE review note on June 23 and another message on September 1 attached.

When I submitted my financial documents, I haven’t filed my 2021 taxes yet, so I submitted my 2020 transcript with $14k income (I was still in school). I now have my 2021 tax transcript with $37k gross and  $35k adjusted gross income (I started working in August 2021). When I submitted my documents to NVC, I sent out my 2021 W2 and my paystubs up to march 2022. As of August 31, I have $50k gross income. I submitted my 2021 transcript to the consulate through CEAC in addition to my paystubs for 6 months up to August 31.

my question is, will there be an issue issue the visa to my mother and my wife?

Like the NVC note says, the CO will make the final decision after the visa interview.  If you want to minimize the chances of delay due to sponsorship concerns, get a qualified joint sponsor and prepare their financial support documents in time for the interview.

This is a boilerplate notice everyone gets if their most recent tax return (2020 in your case) doesn't meet the income requirements.  If your current annualized income is 50k, you are most likely OK.  What does your I-864 say your current income is?

When I filled the I-864, I put the income that is on my employment letter plus all bonuses and raises from passing professional exams, which I submitted to the NVC and was accepted. Basically 71k base salary + 3% annual incentive + 3k for each professional exam passed. It’s all mentioned in my employment letter.

In that case, I would ignore the message and carry on with confidence.

Thanks a lot! That’s reassuring.
