Government, getting worse? You don't say! 😉

I called Live agent through Emma today and it was so quick to connect me to a live agent, when I asked my question all what she told me was that she will schedule a tier 2 agent to call me back and said I should expect a call from a tier 2 agent in 30 days she then gave me a service request number to quote when the agent call me to confirm my request.Anyway  who is a tier 2 agent and why the live agent couldn’t tell me anything?

That’s strange. When we contacted a live agent through Emma we answered the security questions and they told us the case had been transferred to Texas. We didn’t really get any other information. They implied we might hear something soon but our estimate is still saying 8 months.

Yes I answered all the security questions and she asked about my enquiry after she told me to hold on so she could look for the information after waiting for 15mins she came back to say a tier 2 agent will call or email in 30 days. Is it like tier 1 doesn’t see certain informations or they are not allowed to reply on certain issues.

My enquiry was to change my address which is not working on the online account and I don’t know if I can use the AR 11 form to change it since that form is for Alien but not for a usc.

Hey guys, Hope you all are well!

My husband filed the i-130 (online) on 29th, NOA1 from the same day. the receipt said nebraska and later we got changed to Potomac.

We filed K3, got a received notice November 14th. Right now our Estimated time says 9 months. pretty sure it did not update last month but honestly I just might be going insane.

Hey!!

Mine also was transferred from Nebraska to Potomac, and our estimated time is 8 months by now.

We finally managed to get through to Emma and we're still at Texas.

I feel I have not seen many approvals at all lately.  And the K3 also seems to not be helping many.  I've seen a couple of speedy approvals with K3 from vermont in the last month or so, but otherwise nothing else.  Maybe it's been due to the holiday season and they'll start gearing up again soon?

What is everyone doing to ready themselves for next stage in the hope of magic fast approval?

Also just talked to a live agent today and we got moved from Nebraska to Vermont 😓 maybe we will have to suck it up and do the K3 (i wish they could have an online filing for that, too).

In the meantime, so far we've gathered all the other docs that we'll need for the NVC phase - cleared police records from his birth country and where we're living now. My husband's family is sending his vaccination history for further down the line when the medical exam happens, and I'm coaching my parents in the US about the affidavit of support and what they'll need to do when that times comes. But it just feels like our wheel are spinning, endlessly.

Based on what I've seen, definitely do the K3 if you're in Vermont. I've seen some quick K3 approvals from there and no where else lately?

I want to get my police certificate but I think a UK one is only valid for 6 months. It feels a bit early.

I should probably get my husband to focus on the affidavit of support (no co-sponsor required for us luckily.) I've researched into taxes and he'll file head of household for last year so he'll get the tax benefits rather than married filing separately. He's got 2021 and 2020 tax stuff ready I think.

How long is embassy wait expected in your beneficiary's country?

That's what we're thinking after some light research - we'll probably dust off all our docs and organize the K3 ones this weekend.

Most are only valid for 6 months but I believe for immigration purposes it is valid for 2 years? I saw that in one of the forums here, I know lots of people have doubts about when to get it.

We're both living and working in Chile, so there's no way either of us make enough for the requirement. Thankfully my parents, despite retirement, are able to help.

That's a great question! I have no idea how long the wait it - where would I check that? I would assume short, from what I've seen on here there aren't a lot of people applying from Chile.

This site tells you how many cases is been approved daily from the service centres and it looks like cases with IOE are the top of the list. Check it out on https://hilites.today/

Hi all! I have been looking through VisaJourney and other parts of the internet but can't seem to find where we should send the K3 application. In the guide on VisaJourney it has a link for the Dallas lockbox but that link leads you to an error page on the USCIS site.

TIA!
