There has been a way you can check the estimation of your processing time on your USCIS account. I just checked mine and it says 11 months.

mine says the same

We got transferred to Potomac. ^_^

Do you know what prompts a case getting transferred? Ours has been assigned to Nebraska, which some places seem to suggest is one of the "faster" centers but who knows. If the average is 10 months, say, that means some could take 4 and others could take 16. I suppose as long as everything is filled out correctly and there are no requests for evidence, that drastically helps things. 🤞

USCIS transfer the cases according to services center backlogs, documentation load, and other (I'm not very sure). I read in some posts that Nebraska/Vermont/Potomac are the "fastest" service center, but who knows, some applicants waits for months, even years, and other get approved in 2-5 months. I think it's like a combination of luck, well-prepared documentation, and an easier case (I mean, no problems with justice, problems with other marriages, a complicated background in the USA, etc, etc). So, cross your fingers and pray for hope🤞

I applied online 9/26 and AR on 9/26 as well. My receipt says Potomac center, and the estimate provided was 10 months. I am USC and my husband Australian. Married 2 months. We hired a lawyer, however doubtful that impacts any time.

Hi All,

September filer here also.  My husband is a USC, I am in the UK.  Filed online

PD and NOA1 is 09/15/22.  Currently showing we're at Potomac.  K3 was filed last week and we're awaiting receipt for that.

Hi all,

Another September filer here. My wife is a USC and I'm a Brit, filling from Dubai where we both live.

Submit: 12 Sept.

NOA: 12 Sept.

AR: 13 Sept.

And nothing at all since then. Still says not waiting for anything from us. Says it is being processed at TSC, no transfer yet.

We at least have our next 3 trips to see each other booked to try to have something to look forward to in the meantime.

Next week will be my first visit back to the US since we married.  I'm dreading getting the room of doom again, and I'm preparing as much proof of ties as possible. I know many don't have an issue but I know how challenging they were to me back in August 😞

distance is so sad. I miss him everyday, and for me it was very dificult, trying to live alone again. Hopefully he will return in December for a few days, but hurts so bad not be with your spouse.

Hey everyone! We filed Sept 9 (I'm the petitioner for my husband), got the NOA 1 the same day since we filed electronically. Our case is at the Nebraska center.

I'm just wondering if the estimated timeline (what you see in the screenshot) is for the USCIS approval only? Or for the whole process, including NVC and interview.

TIA! -Gia
