Other service centers also showed a difference, in the https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ there is a note talking about "USCIS service centers are now prioritizing the processing of Form I-130 preference petitions for which an the Department of State Visa Bulletin shows that an immigrant visa is available" so that could be why it changed but who knows. A friend today got approved after it changed last week, her pd is July also potomac

Thanks, I get it now

There is no fairness on this uscis journey especially weighing in consular processing, some of those in the states filing as aos have the opportunity to do everything together and wait for a year to get their green card and i130 approved at the same time and those filing as a consular processing has to wait for extra months to go through the immigrant visa processing again.

For fairness to prevail i130 for consular processing should have been less because there is another months to go through before the completion of this journey and also couples are far apart from each other.

The aos filers are with their partners and even got opportunity to work when the EAD is approved and yet their processing is faster.

This whole thing is excruciating and not fair to us living far apart from our partners.

I think there are pro's and cons to be honest.  I would have hated to have been stuck in the US without work permit and (more importantly for me) not having the ability to travel back to see my family while awaiting advanced parole. Yes, I hate having to be away from my husband, we are fortunate enough to be able to visit roughly every 2 months.  If I couldn't do that I would probably find it even harder.

USCIS are prioritising all applications, either consular or AOS for spouses of citizens, not LPR's, since there are no visa's available for LPR's at present.  It makes sense and should speed up USC petition approvals.  I feel like we're starting to see that based on what I see on facebook.

Praying you all see some approvals soon.  NVC stage seems much faster at the moment than it was at the start of this process, so if that remains, then there is a part compensation for the extended time.

Hello fellow September 2022 Filers.

Filed 9-11-22 electronically.

NOA:9-11-22 pdf online

I have been logging into uscis my account to check our processing time And noticed the estimated time isnt populating for the last month. Its just blank now versus showing the estimated months left which was showing 5 months up until the last month or so.

Is anyone else's processing time missing?

Well wished on your journey.

My processing time disappeared last month when we checked (probably almost a month ago I think) and we’ve not had an estimated processing time since then. We just have the “taking longer than expected” message.

Ok, same with us. Hopefully it's a good sign that they're actively looking at our cases now.   Fingers 🤞.

UAE timeline for the embassy is about 9 months unfortunately, so 2-months in the UK sounds amazing!

According to the USCIS website we're still 7 months out for approval from them (AR from 13th Sept, submitted on the 12th). From what people are saying on here, really wish mine hadn't been transferred to Potomac from Texas - Texas looking shorter wight now

is this the timeline for all visas? we're currently doing the k1 visa and stuck at the NVC stage so I was just wondering

It depends on the visa type applied for. EB visas aren't being interviewed at all, DV and refugee visas are being prioritised and they're currently interviewing people with DQ date April/May 2022 (same for IR/CR/F applications), so over a year wait. UAE is a bit of an abnormality as it's being used as the primary interviewing embassy for Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria and lots of transfers from Pakistan, so lots of people being prioritised over I130 visas.

I’d like to ask where you got the information on that they’re currently processing applications for April/May 2022? Because I just asked an agent through Emma and they told me they don’t provide that information anymore. Sick and tired of this #######. The can’t tell us that they’re gonna prioritize us if they’re not actually prioritizing us because why are we still having to wait 14 months? How long does it take to actually verify that a marriage is real because it shouldn’t actually take that long. It should take days not months or years or weeks. I’m so frustrated with all of this #######, and I missing my husband like crazy. I haven’t seen him since January and I’ll be lucky if I get to see him before the end of the year but at that point our form might be approved which means I won’t be able to go anyways, because all of that money has to go towards NVC paperwork. We couldn’t spend our 2nd wedding anniversary together and we’ll probably miss both of our birthdays. Anyone else also notice the update that they did to the website when you sign in? It now says MyProgress with slightly more information, still just basically telling you that they’re processing and reviewing your case. Sorry for the rant everyone, I am just going through a really hard patch being without my husband, especially since we haven’t seen each other for almost 7 months. I’m sorry for my rant. I hope everyone has a lovely day and it’s been wonderful to have this journey with you guys. Glad to have people who understand this process and experience.

I get you, I really do.

The Abu Dhabi embassy has a Telegram channel and Instagram account. In June the embassy did an online Q&A on their Insta channel with two of the senior visa processing guys on visa interviews/backlogs/progress etc, which is where I got a lot of this information.
