I applied sep 7th and immediately got Actively reviewing, and still nothing.  More likely K3 did speed up the process for them.

We are in our 7 months so from now on anything good can happen.

See, I was under the impression that applying for the K3 would be pointless because they most likely will approve the I-130 before the K3. That is what most people were saying. would it be worth it to apply for the K3 now to see if that would speed things up? Or would that slow my application even more?

I do believe it's too late,  but it will not effect the process of I130. I am not sure if it's worth it to try now...

it’s free and although I don’t think it will have an impact now but trust me miracles do happen, you can give it a shot if you want

I agree, you can always try

I just think we should have tried it one month after sending the I130.

Did yall processing time went up for you?

Mine never go up, at TSC and it says 4 months now it has been 5 months since March. I don’t believe in these figures.

Someone posted on one of the i130 groups that her processing time increased from 7 months to 10 months and got approval the next day.

File the I-129F with the assumption that it will be rejected/denied.  The purpose is to try to nudge the I-130 for earlier approval, not to actually get a K3 visa.
