Hi all!

we applied for the k1 visa last November and were allocated to the California office which has a processing time of 13.5months currently…

does this mean it will be 13.5 months until we receive a letter towards the next step or 13.5 months until the entire process is finished?

any help would be great!

thanks

~~ Topic moved from K1 Process to Progress Reports ~~

13.5 - 15 months until you receive approval (NOA2) for the I-129f petition so you can move to the next step in the process. K1 visa is applied for at the consulate, for now you have applied for the petition.

13.5 months until NOA-2. The entire process takes about 1.5 - 2 years depending on consulate

Thanks for the response, so the 13.5 months is just the initial petition approval? I can’t believe how long it will all take 😬

Yes, they are just starting July 2021 filers. You can look at other timelines to get an idea. But for the most part its about an average 14 months if no RFE. You should also fill out your timeline and join the November 2021 Filers
