Both K-1 and CR-1 visa been approved by NVC

Hello everyone,

I applied for a K-1 visa for my fiancé back in December 2020. After that we got married in March 2021 and submitted I-130 petition on July 2021. Today I got an email from the embassy telling me that they are in receipt of my K-1 case with further details on how to proceed.

The problem is that even the I-130 petition had been accepted by NVC and only waiting for an interview to be scheduled.

I am wondering what to do?

Not a big deal.  Did you withdraw the I-129f when you submitted the I-130?  I would send USCIS a letter to withdraw the I-129f, although it was voided when you married.  You are no longer qualified for a K-1.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

OK.  No problem. Carry on.  Personally, I would send a withdrawal letter.  Just make it simple and sweet.
