Timeline

In Part 6. Sponsor's income and employment.

24. My current annual household income:

The person listed above, "PUT MY WIFE"S NAME HERE, OR NO" does not need to

complete Form I-864A because he/she is the intending immigrant and has no

accompanying dependents.

My wife will be traveling with my stepchild, do I put my wife’s name in this section or I leave it blank? :help:

In most cases, it's "E" (yes, enter your wife's name here). :thumbs:

Is your wife's income included in the figure you've listed as total annual household income in part c of that question? If it isn't, then do not put her name there.

US Immigration Timeline

24 Feb 2007 - Sent I-130 to London USCIS office (I'm the petitioner)

25 May 2007 - NOA2

2 June 2007 - Received Packet 3

12 Oct 2007 - Sent Packet 3 back by special delivery

5 Nov 2007 - Interview in London - Approved without any hitches!

7 Nov 2007 - Visa and MBE arrived by SMS! :)

30 Jan 2008 - Fly to Michigan!! :)

*Note: Any delays in our case are only due to us taking things slowly

No, I will not use my wife's income.

No, I will not use my wife's income.

If you are not using her income, then do not put her name. You do not need any I-864A. You just need one I-864.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview
