Oh ok. I was reading about it and it can take upa to 4 weeks to get the check cashed. I think the SMS is definitely a sign they accepted your package.

Yeah I agree it’s for sure a good sign, I was more wondering about the center itself, I was reading around that the Texas center was the best in terms of processing times?

is it safe to travel with that letter?

Yes as long as you don't  fly AeroMexico, there is a post on VJ about them not accepting the extension letter!

The issue was that the letter was also expired. They left without a stamp. If the letter is still within validity, there should be no issues.

Hi everyone, we are about to mail our documents so will definitely be following this thread! As a final check-in, does the below list of items sound enough in your opinion?

  • G-1145
  • I-751
  • Envelope with check for $680
  • Copies of my green card & driver's license
  • 2021 tax receipt
  • Joint lease agreement
  • Joint investment account
  • Joint renter's insurance
  • A page of 9 photos of us with dates

I was reading older threads and some people submit a binder full of documents and so I naturally got a little nervous but not sure if that all is necessary. Mainly want to get your opinion on if I have all the required documents.

Thank you in advance!
