Hi All,

We applied for our N400 on July 12th this year. We were told that our biometrics would be used from our previous I751 ROC. We received a notification that our N400 interview is scheduled for next month. Can I assume it is a combo interview? Thank you in advance for your help.

Always assume it's a combo. It may or may not be a combo interview, but you have to be prepared. Did you include I-751 receipt in your N-400 submission?

Just curious, did you file using the 90 days early filing or just waited a year after filing ROC to apply for N400? Thanks

Both :)

Basically the trigger was the 90 days, online they don’t really let you submit unless you meet the 90 days rule.

I do have a 751 pending since last year (submitted 90 days early too) but my 751 is even slower as I didn’t get the biometric reuse letter for that one yet lol… it has been in « received » for 375 days.

For my N-400 the field office should be Manchester NH.

Yes, I notified them of my pending I-751 and what the latest status was and to consider us for a combo interview.

How did you do that?

I created a cover letter with an explanation of our situation.

I see, I filed online so the cover letter would still be lost in docs 😕

I filed online as well and all uploads are labeled so I'm sure we should have not much to worry about. I've heard N-400 move pretty quickly so I hope yours is just around the corner as well.

So I randomly checked my I-751 status, and on the 27th of September was approved! I’m so happy, and relived that I don’t have to think and deal with this anymore. I wish a speedy and smooth journey to you all! ❤️

Hello, Sept 2022 filers!

Our I-751 was approved on Monday without an interview. We couldn't believe our application would be approved in less than 13 months; we were expecting two years at least. We filed our application on 09/21/23 and was processed in Nebraska Service Center. We just filed our N-400 online on 09/01/23 but I'm sure that didn't have anything to do with it because when I checked the 500 cases before mine using the receipt number, I found out at least 40% of the I-751s within the 500 cases were approved with ours on the same day so it looks like they were approving applications in bulk. For anyone who is still waiting your time is coming soon.

Congratulations! 😊 🎊 In your research, were all the the I-751s before your case number approved, or were some still processing?

In the 500 cases before my number, there are 20 I-751 cases; 12 approved and 8 still processing. In the 500 cases after mine, there are 23 I-751 cases; 11 approved and 12 are still processing. All the approved cases were approved this week, some approved after my post.
