Our window opens in September 2023.  We are in school right now, so we might wait for Spring 2024.  Definitely not rushing into it, but unlikely we will wait the full presidential term of forever Potomac is taking.  Haha

This is a a generic thing, it does not mean there is any actual movement.  Technically, all of us are within that status, it just shows up for some versus others.

Hi All,

Same as some of you, I also received 48 month extension letter (Notice Date April 5, 2023)
No Biometric appointment, nor waiver has received yet.

Seems like a pretty long wait for Texas Service Center as well.

Hey everyone,

Is it normal that I still didn't get my biometrics appointment? I've travelled several times before where they took my fingerprints, and they took my fingerprints in the embassy before I came to the US, is it possible they waived it? Other than the notice that extends the GC for 48 months, I got nothing.

We are in Potomac.  Nothing on the biometrics either.

It is "normal".  Just keep waiting.

Thank you for keeping us posted!  Hopefully it is good news!  It sounds like your case was transferred to the local office.
