Case stuck at NVC - F3 Visa

Hi, I need help on my case got stuck at NVC.  It's a family based F3 category (country: India : mumbai consulate). all documents were qualified(DQ Date) on March 2020 but we haven't got any interview letter yet. It seems like people with DQ date July 2020 started getting their interview letter but somehow I haven't received any IL letter yet.

I sent an inquiry email to NVC about the case but haven't got any response yet. Is there any way to find out the status about the case and expedite it?

Final action dates for India for F3 is 22 of November 08

If a visa is not available, unfortunately there is nothing that NVC can do to expedite the petition. Immigrant visa processing is governed by the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952, as amended, which controls availability of visas.

*** Moved from NVC forum to Embassy/Consulate Discussion -- OP's case is already DQ, PD is current, and interview scheduling varies by consulate, not an NVC issue ***

Check the thread below for updates from others waiting on IL from Mumbai --

And it will likely stay that way until you get your IL.  The consulate will decide when they are ready to accept F3 cases from NVC.

I believe my NVC center was Vermont but interview will be scheduled based on DQ date regardless of NVC center, is that correct? Just this morning, person with DQ date July 2020 received an interview date for October-2022 so wanted to confirm if it would be better to contact NVC again or reach out to mumbai consulate for the case status?

That's correct. person with DQ date Jul-2020 got an IL for Family based F3 category.

Reading the Mumbai DQ thread it appears this consulate has a habit of skipping months (it also happens with IR1/CR1 category).

You should reach out to consulate and NVC to see what is happening and you might have to sue if things don't move in the next couple of months...

I've already sent an inquiry email to NVC 2 weeks ago but currently NVC is responding to inquiry sent on June 27th 2022 so I'll have to wait bit longer before I can hear anything back from them. I'll find out if I can reach out to mumbai consulate via email or phone.

There is only one NVC. It's in New Hampshire.

There is a USCIS service center in Vermont.

As others have suggested, contact the Mumbai embassy.

but the case status  is showing still at "NVC" so shall I contact NVC or mumbai consulate?

It is at NVC because the consulate has not told the NVC to schedule the next batch.  The consulate is in control.

Ideally based on  DQ date for similar category at mumbai consulate, I should have an interview scheduled last month but haven't got any IL so far.

I looked at my CEAC account and status is still showing at "NVC".  I also contacted mumbai consulate but they asked me to check with NVC using public inquiry form.

I sent an inquiry email to NVC about the case but haven't got any response yet and I won't probably get response until end of the next month based NVC response timeframe posted on their website.

What would be the best option to contact NVC and bring up my case issue?

You have to wait in the line for NVC response. No way around that. They suspended their phone service.
