This has been a great week at work. My company is celebrating receiving its first "A" rating (we're up from an A-), so this whole week has been full of little employee appreciation things. Monday we got Dunkin Donuts gift cards, Tuesday we got T-shirts, yesterday was make your own ice cream sundaes, and today there's a BBQ. I'm hoping that the gift tomorrow will be the day off! Wouldn't that be fantastic?!

This has been a great week at work. My company is celebrating receiving its first "A" rating (we're up from an A-), so this whole week has been full of little employee appreciation things. Monday we got Dunkin Donuts gift cards, Tuesday we got T-shirts, yesterday was make your own ice cream sundaes, and today there's a BBQ. I'm hoping that the gift tomorrow will be the day off! Wouldn't that be fantastic?!

Sometimes its these little things that keep us going! I just don't know how you top a BBQ lunch. where I come from that's usually sved for the big Friday celebration.

Maybe there is a CASH PRIZE???????

I should clarify that many times when they say BBQ up around here, that just means a cookout (burgers and hotdogs). Not sure if they're gonna have real BBQ, though that would be a treat.

Cash prize would be ultimate, but only if everyone got something rather than some drawing because I never win those. I'd be happy with some Red Sox tickets though!

Yes, we do! They usually give away about 20-30 pairs of tickets throughout the season. I've never won though. They do Celtics tickets too. Never won those either. :angry:

This week has been toooooo long.

I'm sure others, such as Doodle, can attest to this!

We have bbq's at my work at least once a year. A group of us employees figure out what should be served and then we all pick something to buy (company reimburses us) or help with.

This year we had salmon, steaks and chicken, and then all the stuff to go along with. I usually make the dessert, which I did this year as well. Caramel apple bars. Yum.

woop woop! only one day until doodle goes to egypt! and only one day until my fiance is here with me! today i'm going to bake some "all american" cookies and go shopping for salad ingredients, and other things to fill the fridge with!

my tripceps are soooo sore from the gym. no pain, no gain!!!!!!!
