Need help with filing out the 129F: Alien registration # and fiance's last name

Hi,

I'm filling out the 129f and not sure about certain things on it. Any help is appreciated.

Do I still need to put my alien registration number since I'm already a citizen through naturalization?

My fiance's last name is slightly different from his dad's because he is using his grandpa's first name combined with last name as his last name. His dad just have the last name of the grandpa. Would USCIS get confused and ask for an explanation why their last name are slightly different? Should I provide an explanation? Or should he? Or this is not a big deal?

1. Yes

2. No

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

If f you don’t enter A number, IME USCIS will anyway.

Your fiancé’s name needs to match his name on his birth certificate and passport.

Edited in: It's asking for a 9 digit after the A, I only have 8 digit after the A. Would I add a "zero" after the A then?

Oh...will im gonna put enter it in but just having issue cause pdf asking for 9 digit and i only have 8. It's not saving my 8 digit and keeps clearing up.

His name matches on birth certificate and passport. Just his dad's last name is slightly different from his. Just curious if USCIS would make that a problem?

You can leave the A-number blank if you are not sure since the zero may go in the front or the back? USCIS will fill it in for you. The A-number will show up on your I-797 NOA2. Just include a copy of the  Naturalization Certificate and a copy of the US passport in the I-129F.

Name should be okay if the beneficiary birth certificate and passport matches. Does not have to match Dad's name. Just include a copy of the beneficiary birth certificate and a copy of the beneficiary passport in the I-129F.

Options:

1. Add a leading zero.

2. Using  your pdf editor add a text field over the answer space and enter what you want.
