I sent everything but my paycheck stubs because I thought I saw somewhere that it wasn't needed. I have read the I134 instructions, checked the USEM, and the packet 4 instructions and no where does it say that paycheck stubs are required. Then I read the updated K1 Visa Guide for Manila and it says to provide 6 months of paycheck stubs. I don't think that was there before.

So has anyone have a recent interview where you didn't have these and everything was ok?

Thanks,

Charlie

i read that your self employed, is it really needed the 3yrs tax? or i can just show them the latest ITR? 2006 ITR?? coz m having a co-sponsor and he is self employed. by the way for having co-sponsor, he need to fill up I-134 right? 1 for the petitioner and 1 for the co-sponsor.... now i have the sample form for the petitioner on how to fill up the form, do you have sample form for the co-sponsor? coz i want to be sure if he filled up the form correctly... thanks

for self-employed no need for pay stubs but just the 2-3 yrs ITR's... as for the others, pay stub may be ask by the CO so it really helps if you also include and bring it during the interview as part of your W2 (if thats the term) file... im not an expert but just basing my opinion on the members/friends experienced...

my fiance could not pass an ITR or W2s for the previous 3 years(been a student) started to work this year only so he had to submit a copy of his payslips and had to get a letter of employment just to show that he is working already and that can support me....Even my friends fiance they submitted copy of previous payslip and employment letter....it may not be required for others especially if u have ITRs or W2s for the previous 3 years but you know its always nice to have everything handy....just in case they gonna ask for it...... :) Good Luck..... :)

Self employed should have copies of their 1099s proving they earned what they claimed they earned.

Equals having W2s.

And yes co sponsor must fill out the I-134!

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

yes have your 1099's if self employed, going back the last couple of years, if you work for someone have the paystubs and ur itrs and w2's,and employment letter ie: on company letterhead, include your name, your position how long u have been employed there and annual salary. did not fool around made sure to have everything cause when my fiancee had his interview (K1)in Manila that was the first thing the interviewer asked for and the forms were scrutinized. she also looked at the bank statements, i had about 6 months worth. when the paperwork is concerned it is better to have too much documentation than not enough. everything went smoothly with the interview.
